A 50 year old woman was charged with shoplifting after she was stopped by a Loss Prevention Officer at a west end business. Police received a complaint that a woman was driving her vehicle while she was under the influence of prescription drugs.
The 71 year old woman was located and left in the care of family. A 38 year old man was stopped inside of his vehicle. The driver was given multiple tickets for no insurance, no registration and failing to provide documents.
The vehicle was towed from the highway. Police were patrolling the Augustana University of Alberta area and noted a Ford F150 truck with damage to the door locks.
